Following their recent acquisition of French-based Withings, Nokia have announced that they will be releasing a portfolio of digital health products, designed to help people keep an eye on their health.
The line-up of products has been designed to accommodate a variety of different lifestyles and the headline devices include: The Nokia Body BMI scales – a digital set of scales that can not only tell you your weight, but can assess and report on water content, fat content, bone and muscle mass and pulse wave velocity (which reports on heart health),
Then you have The Nokia BFN+, a portable cuff that actively measures your blood pressure. It also allows you to share your data with a medical professional.
Nokia will also be releasing an updated version of the Health Mate app which will work in conjunction with these new digital gadgets which will allow the data to be processed and monitored. You will be able to view a timeline to see your progress, a list of your different devices and your personal profile.
Within the app, Nokia will also have 5 programs which includes: Sleep Smarter, Pregnancy Tracker, Healthier Heart, Better Body and The Leaderboard. Each of these programs were developed by well-respected professionals within the health industry.
