What Microsoft 365 Apps for Business Come Included?
Only a decade ago, Blackberry were the masters of the phone universe – until Apple released the iPhone and the rest is history.
In recent times, BlackBerry has seen its market share significantly reduced thanks to consumers purchasing touchscreen smartphone running both on Android and iOS and despite BlackBerry selling Android phones, BlackBerry aficionados have been eagerly awaiting the release of the latest device – the BlackBerry KEYone.
So, what can we expect BlackBerry’s new device? If you are predominately looking to message and send emails, then the KEYone is a solid choice of phone for you.
As with all previous Blackberry’s, there is a keyboard which is made of plastic (with each row being separated by metal) the top three rows are a QWERTY keyboard and the bottom row features shift keys on either side.
There is also a microphone that can be accessed via a button which allows for dictation. Keypresses feel secure and the keys are sculpted which makes it very easy to type away without hitting the wrong key.
The spacebar on the keyboard acts as a fingerprint sensor which is an attractive design touch. In fact, the entire keyboard of the KEYone is swipe sensitive and doubles up as a trackpad.
Unlike many other smartphones, the top of the KEYone top is squared off which is a refreshing change from having four curved corners.
The KEYone is predominately made from brushed aluminium. There is a 4.5-inch glass screen which is 1080 x 1620 pixels and the back of the phone is covered in black leather.
BlackBerry is launching this phone the KeyOne Android Nougat 7.1.1 and uses a Snapdragon 625 SoC. It has 3GB of RAM and a 1Mmp back camera that is capable of 4k capture.
The modest hardware and smaller screen mean this phone can easily make it through two or three days of heavy usage thanks to its excellent battery life.
