The Brief
Established in 1985, Dorset Nursing Supplies is a family-run medical supply company based in Christchurch. They specialise in providing medical equipment and supplies for both the NHS and the care industry.
Town & Country Communications have been supplying Dorset Nursing Supplies with cost-effective SIM-only mobile contracts for over 20 years. This long-standing partnership has led to us developing a close working relationship between our teams. In mid-January 2024, they reached out and asked us to handle all of their telecommunications, including upgrading their current in-office phone system.
The Project
We visited their premises shortly after they reached out to assess their current phone system. They were running an older VoIP system that was slow and outdated, so we suggested switching it out for a newer one that worked similarly (saving them the hassle of learning a whole new system) but was faster, more responsive, and more versatile.
We spent the next few days sourcing the hardware and configuring the system to fit their business needs. Once everything was set, we came back on the 17th to swap out the old system with the new. It was a straightforward one-for-one exchange, which made the whole process smooth and took us only about 30 minutes to finish.
The Results
Throughout the entire process, we stayed in close contact with the team at Dorset Nursing Supplies to make sure the system we designed met all their needs without going over their budget.
Once we’d finished the installation, their team were left completely satisfied with their new system and the faster, easier way they could now communicate with both their clients and team members while in the office.
Looking ahead, we plan to continue providing support as needed for their new system, and to keep supplying them with mobile contracts tailored to each team member’s phone model – whether iPhone or Android – chosen carefully to secure the best rates possible. We hope to remain their one-stop source for all their telecommunication needs for another two decades and beyond!
