Bowmill Engineering originally had their business mobiles with Vodafone, but they were not getting any service via their direct account manager and were concerned they were paying too much.
Town & Country analysed their call spend against Vodafone’s current tariff and also against O2 and EE. By switching the business mobiles to O2, we could retain their existing numbers while offering an upfront saving of 6 months free line rental and reducing the monthly bills by 40%.
We transferred all their existing data from one phone to another at their premises prior to the transfer, and on the day of transfer it was just simply a matter of switching the old phone off and the new phone on. We have been able to support them with a direct point of contact and a local service.
Landlines, Broadband & Phone System
This company were also looking for a supplier that could facilitate a new phone system, but also move their landlines and broadband away from Virgin who were not supporting their requirements.
Town & Country looked at both the hosted and fixed phone system option but due to the broadband being standard ADSL with no fibre alternative, we decided upon the fixed solution. Our team supplied a Alcatel phone system, which offers versatility should the broadband improve in the future, and we preconfigured all hardware after arranging the installation at their convenience with minimal disruption.
We worked directly with Virgin to arrange the transfer of all lines and calls. This entire task was supported by training and 12 months free maintenance.
