Style Door Systems were previously with Orange when Town & Country Communications reviewed their account, but they were unhappy with the cost and poor customer service they were receiving with their other supplier. As a company, they had 6 business mobiles – we were able to retain the existing numbers, transfer them across to the 02 network and give them an overall saving of 25%. Since this time, their account has grown to 14 mobiles and Town & Country have continued to reduce their operating cost by a further 35%, mostly through regular tariff reviews and maintaining the most cost-effective tariff for them.
Landlines & Broadband
Town & Country reviewed these 4 years ago and discovered they were paying 50% more on their call rates and 20% more on their rentals than was necessary. Whilst making this saving, we were able to change the billing provider and complete the transfer with minimal distruption to their business. We also identified that they were paying for phone system maintenance, which they rarely used and had to pay a fixed monthly rate. Paying for individual call outs was a more cost effective solution for them and helped to bring down their ongoing costs. As soon as fibre was available in their area, we advised them to upgrade and they have greatly benefited from the increased speeds on their computer network.
Phone System
Their old phone system was about 8 years old and even though it worked, it had restricted features and the capacity was nearly full – therefore not allowing additional users. Town & Country looked at both the fixed phone system over their current analogue lines and also suggested a hosted phone system. However, Style Door Systems did not have fibre broadband available at the time and a hosted phone system relies on a stable upload speed. The fixed phone system would have been about £6,500 but it was not a necessity as the current system was still working. Further to working with the new fibre broadband for 9 months, we were confident we could revisit the hosted phone system. The set up cost was 60% less and even though we added additional handsets, the monthly cost only increased by 15%.
