"Before moving to Town & Country Communications we were with Vodafone direct for our business mobiles. Based on a recommendation from a friend, we got in touch with the boys at T&C to arrange a quote based on our current package. "Town & Country have supported our business communications at Elite Fabrication & Welding Ltd for 6 years now, covering mobiles, landlines, broadband and our telephone system. They continue to offer a great service and have always gone out of their way to resolve any problems that we have experienced.
However, what we were really impressed with was when they notified us on a weekend that they suspected our telephone system was being hacked.
Due to their effective alert system, Town & County were notified that someone was trying to arrange a divert on our phone lines, which would result in the hacker being able to piggy back and use our lines for international calls.
They knew we were out of hours, so they barred the outgoing calls and contacted us to let us know. Consequently, they assured us that the threat had been dealt with and restored our telephone lines back to working order by Monday.
If the hacker had not been detected, we ran the risk of calls costing as much as 70p per minute being dialled continuously. This would have cost the business hundreds of pounds, so we are extremely grateful to Town & Country for picking it up when they did!"
